Fairy Godmothers of The Four Directions hit #2 in its genre on Amazon Kindle moments ago. We can taste the big #1.
With some 300,000 new self published books hitting Amazon this year alone it is an uphill battle just to be seen at all. The writing, research, editing over and over (then again), cover design, formatting and marketing. Number 1 and 3 in our genre are offered by major publishing houses. The number 3 author is a multiple New York Times best seller.
Here is the rub. These rankings on Kindle are fleeting. One day you are on top and the following week you are number 45. So we will bask in our glory...may it be long and fruitful.
